I’ve said in my previous blog post, that we all want happiness. Another thing that most of us, if not all of us, want in our lives, is abundance.
What Is Abundance?
Abundance can be viewed in many different ways. To me, it is not just money or prosperity or financial wealth or things like that. To me, abundance is about freedom.
In general, we can comprise abundance e.g. in regards of wealth, health, freedom and many other things.
Abundance is also a perspective; how you view your life and the world. Are you paying attention to the lack and things that you don’t have in your life? Or are you paying attention to what you already have and what you have access to in your life?
Abundance and Gratitude
I’ve also written earlier about gratitude and that goes pretty much hand in hand with abundance. When you look at the things you already have, feel grateful about those things, and pay attention to what you have available and access to, your mind directs you and your behaviors toward that direction.
Therefore, by practicing gratitude, you start to create more abundance to your life, witchever way you think about abundance.
Abundance Is Creation
Also, in my opinion, abundance doesn’t mean that if you have abundance, it is something that is taken away from someone else.
If you view abundance as something that you create instead of something that you take from others, meaning, for example, if you provide services, goods or whatever, so that you create something to this world. This is not taking something away from someone else but rather adding something to the common abundance in the world.
Abundance really has a lot to do with your perspective, how you view things, what you pay attention to.
Words of Wisdom
In my book, Words of Wisdom, chapter 13 is about abundance. And here I would like to share one of the quotes in the book about abundance. This one here is from Ulla Suokko:
Like Ulla Suokko says here, when you create abundance for yourself, you have also a lot more to share with other people. You cannot really give money to charity, for example, if you are poor and you don’t have any money yourself.
So abundance has a lot to do with what you do with the abundance that you have. Do you keep your abundance to yourself? To me, that’s not real abundance. That’s more like stinginess.
So when you have plenty and you share it with others, maybe with your loved ones, or maybe with those who are in need for whatever you have to give, then in that way, you also extend the abundance to the world, if you want.
